Phil worked in the airline industry and, after being laid off, decided to start his own business. In 1994, he and his brother, Paul, founded Routine Maintenance.
Phil has lived in Peachtree City since 1991 and raised two children here. Both are grown and out of the house, happy and healthy.
Phil enjoys sports, golfing,and camping when he is not busy working.
Phil enjoys all types of problem solving including the many unique issues found in the remodeling/repair business. Phil appreciates the many friendships that have evolved from the business over the years.
As of November 2015, Phil has been elected to become a member of the Peachtree City Council.
There is a saying, “Don’t work with family.”, but this does not apply to Phil and Paul. Paul brings many types of skills to the table and they mesh well with Phil’s. The skills and personality of each make this business a whole.
Paul worked in the aircraft industry. He has also worked in the construction field for 35 years.
Paul lives in Peachtree City and raised two children here, both grown and away from home, happy and healthy.
Paul likes sports, NASCAR, camping, and restoring old cars when he is not busy working.
When you ask him about his favorite part of the job, he says, “I like the opportunity to meet new people. Our customers are the best.” He also likes that his company offers a quality job for a fair price. Being able to help people take care of their homes is very gratifying.
Steve comes to us with 16 years experience in the construction business. He has been with Routine Maintenance since 2001.
He is married and raising a family in Newnan. He has two boys and two girls.
When he is not working he likes to play guitar, listen to music, and enjoys being at the lake fishing and boating.
When asked what is his favorite part about working for Routine Maintenance he will say that the best part is seeing a job well done and how happy that makes a customer. “That moment when we show our customer the completed job and they are happy with our work. That makes my day.”
Fred comes to us with 41 years experience. His first job was building a tree house at the age of 11. He has been with Routine Maintenance since 2011.
Fred lives in Peachtree City and has three daughters and two sons, one of which is still at home and keeps him on his toes.
When Fred is not working, he likes to spend time with his 9 year old son and grand children fixing bikes, skinned knees, and elbows. You cannot watch after your kids and grand kids without a few of those. He also likes to build custom furniture in his spare time.
If you ask Fred what is his favorite part of working at Routine Maintenance, he will tell you going to a home that needs some help to get back to its former glory and achieving that goal. “My wife says, and I quote, ‘you have sawdust in your veins.’ I guess she is right. (But don’t tell her that!)”
Dustin comes to us with 14 years experience and has been working for Routine Maintenance since 2010.
He is married and has one son. He and his family live in Jonesboro.
When he is not busy working, Dustin likes to go fishing. He also likes to watch football. Go Falcons! That’s right, a true Falcon’s fan right here at Routine Maintenance.
When you ask him what he likes most about working for Routine Maintenance, he says, “working hard and being diligent. When the job is done, I like being able to take a step back and admire my hard work. Most jobs you don’t get to see the end product of your hard work. In this type of business and working for a company this size, I get to do that.”
Donnie comes to us with several years of maintenance experience. He is quickly acquiring the skills needed for the home remolding/repair business. Donny has worked for Routine Maintenance since 2012.
He is newly married and they have set up house here in Peachtree City.
When Donnie is not working he likes to watch football – Go Bears! And he likes to restore antique cars and trucks.
When you ask Donny what he likes best about working for Routine Maintenance he will tell you “the different types of houses and construction. In this area you can work on old construction and new construction. I also like learning new things. Since we do all kinds of jobs, I have had the opportunity to learn all kinds of things.”
Brian is a former Navy sailor. He served our country from 2002 – 2006. He likes doing things with his hands inside and outside which makes him a great fit for Routine Maintenance.
In his free time, he enjoys playing sports with his kids. Brian has 2 children and another on the way. He also loves watching sports; especially the Atlanta home teams.
Richard graduated from Southern Poly Tech with a degree in Construction Management. He has been building things since he was a small child. He is married without children (yet). He has been active in the field of construction since 2008 including work as an estimator. He is an Alabama fan via marriage, but has found Auburn customers to like him well.
Richard is very active in his church and with his family. In his free time, he enjoys reading about the various techniques of woodworking, carpentry and construction. He also likes to read books on theology & history.
His favorite part of working for Routine Maintenance is the comradery.
Paul grew up and still lives in Peachtree City where he learned all about construction.
He graduated from McIntosh High School and is a single Dad of his precious daughter. Paul appreciates spending time with her, enjoying the amenities Peachtree City has to offer. He also enjoys sports including golf and ping pong.
Paul has worked in projects that included tile flooring, cabinetry, roofing & carpeting before joining Routine Maintenance. He likes connecting with his friends and customers he has known for many years.
